Gbenga Badejo - I discovered Epe. Again
I visited Epe for the very first time in 2016. I was back this year. On both occasions, what took me to Epe was Liberty - Making People Free, the international Christian outreach whose mandate is to transform communities - body, soul and spirit.Toyin Dagiloke - Eye clinic
Every time I go, the Liberty mission trips become more and more rewarding. Working alongside some of the most dedicated doctors, nurses and volunteers in the world; seeing hundreds of Nigerian villagers receive medical attention for the first time in their lives and being a part of the loving team delivering this care is such an honour. As well as the medical work we do, staying in the community and interacting with the children is awe inspiring. Before As time drew closer to Liberty 2016 the excitement that I was finally doing something I had always wanted to do exploded. However, fear crept in.- Was I spiritually prepared for the journey ahead?
- Am I worthy enough?
- Was I really going to pray for people to come to Christ?
- What about my own struggles?

Tola Adeshina's Liberty experience @ Epe 2016
I had always desired to go on a Christian mission trip but I never had the chance too. But this year 2016, I was determined to close the gap on this desire. I heard about the Liberty mission during my church service at EP. They were having a summer fair to raise money for the cause. I enquired about the Liberty mission from Pastor Akin and Kemi Akinwumi and after speaking to them both, I was sure that I wanted to go. (more…)
