Like the 70 in the bible, we too returned with great joy.  Surely the Lord has done great things for us.  Every year we come back saying, “This was the best yet,” and this year is no exception. We were 430 on the team drawn from Abuja, Ife, Ibadan, Akure, Ilorin, Ilesha, UK & the host Lagos.  We started on.

Like the 70 in the bible, we too returned with great joy.  Surely the Lord has done great things for us.  Every year we come back saying, “This was the best yet,” and this year is no exception. We were 430 on the team drawn from Abuja, Ife, Ibadan, Akure, Ilorin, Ilesha, UK & the host Lagos.  We started on Tuesday with a 3-hour prayer meeting on the beach when we repented for 250 years of the slave trade, (1,000s of slaves herded into canoes then on to schooners on the very beach we held our meetings) also for the murders of missionaries and serious occultism and witchcraft.

Briefly over the 4 days:

  • 1,400 people received the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Saviour
  • 2,500 were given free medical checks, eye tests and medicines
  • 43 had their sight restored through cataract surgery
  • 4 minor ops were performed
  • 50+ were baptized in water
  • 173 cervical smears were done + the necessary follow up
  • Many, many were healed through prayer & many baptized in the Holy Spirit
  • Many received their deliverance
  • We visited the prison and 2 local schools. Again many responded to the Lord.
  • 2 new churches were established on Sunday Nov 2nd (Town Hall was full with many queuing up to testify) The greatest thing was seeing lives changed before our eyes.

Juliana Omobo a 25 year old who has been blind for three years. She can now see & and sang a beautiful song of thanksgiving at the Sunday service in the town hall where also this lady dances for joy following cataract surgery.

Timothy was about to commit suicide when he heard about Liberty. At 25 years of age he has been blind for 3 years. All the family’s money has been spent on failed eye operation. He & his brother Femi were led to the Lord.  Dr Soetan  saw Timothy& we have arranged for a corneal graft to be done at a cost of £4,000.

Mary was about to enter a brothel having no hope & no money. She has had 5 abortions & her 8 year old daughter was taken from her when Mary had no money for school fees.  In a few short hours she was saved, delivered, taken to the business empowerment, given money to set up in business. She is now radiant and baptized.

This year we were privileged to have Bruce & Sharon Oliver with us, many people were healed through their ministry. Badagry has been liberated from the dreadful past and transformation has come. The Light has shone and the darkness has been overcome all thanks to the love of God.  Thank you for coming, thank you for giving & special thanks to all of you who were faithful in prayer. The Lord heard and answered.  Great is your reward.
